ProfileThe Glasgow High School Library Media Center (LMC) serves approximately 250 students in grades 9 through 12. The staff consists of one full time library/media specialist.

HoursThe facility is open 8:00am to 4:15 pm on Monday through Thursday.
Students may visit the library without a pass before and after school. During the school day, a student may access the library through a pass from academic support, study hall, or work in the library with a subject teacher. The LMC schedule is flexible with teachers signing up to bring in their classes for orientation, various cooperatively planned research projects, and instruction in the use of the databases and other research tools, both print and electronic. |
ServicesThe LMC is a multi-purpose facility presenting a wide range of print, e-books, and audiovisual materials.
In addition, the LMC provides electronic databases including Opposing View Points and Research in Context . Audiovisual projection equipment, Chromebooks, computer lab, and lamination services are also provided by the LMC. Lectures on information literacy, research skills, and citing sources can be scheduled by classroom teachers. |
